And a call could come soon, as Lionel Scaloni, the World Cup champions’ coach, explained on the eve of the friendly against Puerto Rico, scheduled for late in Miami. “Soulé is on our radar, as are other players we’re following, believing in their qualities and the possibility of bringing their contribution to the national team,” the Argentine coach said. “They are players who have a future in our ‘Selección’.” An indirect response to the statements of the Roma player’s agent, who tried to put pressure on the World Cup-winning coach, suggesting a possible call-up to the Azzurri.
