PARIS (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – “Kolo Muani? He’s in a complicated situation right now. It hasn’t always been easy for him, but at the moment he doesn’t have any playing time and is training separately. I hope that by Monday he can find a solution to be an active player.”
Didier Deschamps commented on the exclusion from the Paris Saint-Germain squad of the striker, who was sidelined by the club and whom Juventus would like to bring back to Turin. “There are aspects in terms of his athleticism and playing time that are not compatible with the demands of international football. He’s not in the right rhythm for an international match. I already have players who aren’t and can’t be at their best. I hope his situation is resolved by Monday.”
Deschamps instead called on Marcus Thuram (“At Inter he plays in a two-striker system, while with us he often plays on the wing, he’s started well again”) and Manu Konè: “He’s one of those underrated or under-regarded players. I think he has great potential. He’s performing well at his club and, it seems, he’ll stay at Roma. If he’s here regularly, it’s because I’m considering playing him. He has a bit of difficulty in the early stages of matches, where he gets booked, but he’s capable of doing good things once he’s recovered.”
