TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Racist insults were directed at Juventus’ American midfielder Weston McKennie. This is what the Juventus reported on its social media channels following the 2-0 league debut victory at the Stadium against Parma.
“At the end of the match against Parma, Weston McKennie was subjected to racist discriminatory comments by some people present in the away section, while he was training on the pitch with teammates who had not taken part in the match,” the statement from Bianconeri. “Juventus strongly condemns this episode and any manifestation of racism and will guarantee full cooperation with the sporting justice bodies to identify those responsible.”
