NYON (SWITZERLAND) (ITALPRESS) – UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, following the Champions League final last May 31st between PSG and Inter, has imposed sanctions on the Parisian club. The French club was fined €100,000 and banned from selling tickets to their visiting fans for a UEFA competition match. This ban, however, is suspended for a probationary period of two years from the date of this decision. The reason is due to the behavior of the fans, who violated several rules.
In addition to the €100,000 fine, the club will also have to pay €30,000 for throwing objects, €10,000 for transmitting messages inappropriate for a sporting event and for discrediting UEFA, and a further €8,000 for damages.
