ROME (ITALPRESS) – James Milner, former Liverpool and Brighton midfielder, has chosen to wear the number 20 shirt in memory of Diogo Jota, the Reds player who died last July 3 in a car accident in Spain. “When I heard that Carlos (Baleba, ed.) was about to change his number and that 20 would remain available, I decided to choose it as a sign of respect and as a tribute to Diogo Jota, an incredible player with whom I had the opportunity to play. He was a dear friend. It’s a great honor to wear his number in the Premier League this year,” said Milner, who until last season wore the number 6 shirt.
