Salah praises Spalletti, “The best coach I’ve ever had”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “The best coach I’ve had? Spalletti.” This is Mohamed Salah‘s response in an interview with France Football. A blunt and direct response from the Egyptian, who didn’t think twice, pointing to the Italian coach he had during his time with Roma. The former Roma winger also had his say on who he considers the greatest African player in history: “Me (he says laughing), but there are many. I could say George Weah, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o…”.

Salah, currently at Liverpool, then spoke about his ideal teammate: “I didn’t play with him in my best moments, but I’d say Eden Hazard. I would have liked to play with Steven Gerrard and Thierry Henry. Best defender I’ve faced? There have been many. Sergio Ramos is a great player, but I can’t name just one.” Finally, he thought about the Champions League: “It’s the trophy that has had the greatest impact on me,” he said.
