LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Noni Madueke is a new Arsenal player. The English club announced the news in a statement, and the 23-year-old striker arrives from Chelsea on a long-term contract.
“We are very pleased to have reached an excellent agreement for the arrival of such a talented young player,” said Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta. Manager Mikel Arteta was also delighted to welcome him: “We are all very excited to welcome Noni Madueke to the team. He is a powerful player, with consistently improving performances and numbers in recent seasons. He is one of the most talented strikers in the Premier League.”
Madueke, who according to the English press was paid €60 million, will wear the number 20 shirt and, given his summer commitments at the Club World Cup, will join the team in early August, after Arsenal’s tournée in Asia.
