A unique human being,” Slot added, speaking of a “sense of total shock” at the club. The Dutch manager also recalled Jota’s recent wedding, which took place a few weeks ago: “In many ways, it had been a dream summer for Diogo and his family, which makes it all the more heartbreaking.”
