SEVILLA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Matias Almeyda, 51-year-old former midfielder for Lazio, Parma, Inter and Brescia, is the new coach of Sevilla. He has a two-year contract with an option for a third season linked to objectives. The seventh Argentine coach in the club’s history, Almeyda began his career as a footballer in Europe at Sevilla in 1996 and his time with the Andalusians will be his second experience as a coach in the Old Continent after having led Aek Athens from 2022 to 2025.
