BRUGES (BELGIUM) (ITALPRESS) – Yann Sommer will continue his career with Club Brugge until at least the age of 40. The Swiss goalkeeper has joined the Belgian club on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until 2029 after spending three seasons with Inter.
The veteran shot-stopper extends a career that has already seen him make more than 790 professional appearances. During his time at Basel, Sommer won four Swiss league titles and two Swiss Cups. At Borussia Mönchengladbach, he was named the club’s Player of the Year on three occasions.
