According to “A Bola”, the €60 million release clause is active from today: if Sporting refuses official offers of this amount, they will have to pay compensation of 10% – or €6 million – to the Swede’s agent, Hasan Cetinkaya.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to come forward with the aforementioned €60 million, but the Leos are insisting on asking for €80 million. And if the agent were to claim the compensation, the club is reportedly ready to go to war by letting Gyokeres go only for the €100 million release clause.
