ROME (ITALPRESS) – There are already 10 national teams qualified for the 2026 World Cup: after Canada, Mexico and the United States as host countries and Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina and Uzbekistan, it is the turn of South Korea and Jordan. The penultimate day of Group B of the Asian qualifiers was decisive: in Basra, South Korea beat Iraq 2-0 with goals from Kim Jingyu and Oh Hyeongyu and sealed first place with 19 points. A result that benefits Jordan – who shortly before had won 3-0 over Oman in Muscat with a hat-trick from Ali Olwan – confident of second place which is worth a direct ticket to the World Cup. Jordan, like Uzbekistan, will be at its first historic participation
