LENTINI (SYRACUSE) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – – Two Maltese citizens have died following a serious road accident on State Road 194 Ragusana near Lentini, in the province of Syracuse, in Sicily.
The fatal crash occurred when a Toyota Yaris collided with a truck transporting construction debris. The violent impact claimed the lives of the two Maltese who were in the car. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but for the victims there was nothing that could be done. The Carabinieri from Carlentini arrived on site to carry out the necessary investigations and are currently working to reconstruct the dynamics of the collision. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased as investigations continue.
