LONDON (ITALPRESS) – Tottenham continue their search for a top-class striker, with Victor Osimhen emerging as one of the club’s main transfer targets.
The Nigerian forward, who enjoyed an outstanding season with Galatasaray, is among the most ambitious names on the London club’s shortlist as they look to strengthen Roberto De Zerbi’s attacking options.
According to CaughtOffside, Spurs have made preliminary enquiries and are prepared to value the striker at between €60 million and €65 million. Galatasaray, however, are not willing to negotiate at that level and are understood to be seeking at least €75 million for their star forward.
The Turkish club are under no pressure to sell. Osimhen remains under a long-term contract and is regarded as one of the team’s key players after a remarkable campaign in which he scored 41 goals and provided 10 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
Any potential move is also expected to depend on the future of Richarlison. The Brazilian striker’s departure would free up both a squad place and significant wage budget, making a deal of this magnitude more feasible for Tottenham.
Competition for Osimhen’s signature could also complicate matters, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Atlético Madrid all monitoring the situation closely.
