The FA asks Infantino for documents regarding the Balogun case and the FFE project

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Gianni Infantino is facing further trouble. Debbie Hewitt, Chair of the FA (the English Football Association) and a FIFA Vice-President, has formally requested that the head of world football’s governing body publish and disclose all files related to the Folarin Balogun case (the US player who was suspended and subsequently “pardoned” during the World Cup) and, above all, the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) project, which was later shelved. The BBC reported the story. Infantino is expected to make all documents available before the next FIFA Council meeting, scheduled for October 15. Hewitt’s strongly worded letter, which was also sent to FIFA General Secretary Mattias Grafström, accuses Infantino of “failures in FIFA governance” and a “breakdown in culture within the world football governing body.”
