ROME (ITALPRESS) – Mohamed Salah will end his time with Liverpool at the conclusion of the 2025–26 season. The 33-year-old Egyptian forward has reached an agreement with the Reds that will allow him to close an extraordinary nine-year chapter at Anfield. Salah expressed his desire to make this announcement to fans as soon as possible, to ensure maximum transparency about his future as a sign of respect and gratitude toward them.
Signed from AS Roma in the summer of 2017, the number 11 established himself as one of the greatest players in the club’s history, contributing to the الفوز of two Premier League titles, one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, one FA Cup, two League Cups, and one Community Shield. With 255 goals in 435 appearances, the Egyptian ranks third on Liverpool’s all-time top scorers list, having won the Premier League Golden Boot four times, in addition to numerous individual awards.
“Unfortunately the time has come, I will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, but this will always be my home,” Salah said on Instagram alongside a video highlighting his time with the English club.
