This is according to the Moroccan news agency MAP, specifying that the position was expressed during the first session of the Morocco-Kenya Joint Cooperation Commission, co-chaired in Nairobi by Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Kenyan Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Musalia Mudavadi.

In the joint communiqué adopted at the end of the session, Kenya “welcomed the growing international consensus” and the impetus given by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of the autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom of Morocco, calling autonomy “the only credible and realistic solution to resolve the Sahara dispute.”
