WARSAW (POLAND) (ITALPRESS) – “The Polish Football Association (PZPN) has learned with deep sadness and great regret of the passing of Jacek Magiera, assistant coach of the national team. The PZPN extends its sincere condolences to Jacek Magiera’s family, friends, and loved ones. We ask that the privacy and peace of mind of his loved ones be respected at this very difficult time.” With this statement, the Polish Football Association confirmed the death of the assistant coach, who, according to Radio Wroclaw, fell ill during a running session. The 49-year-old was treated and transported to Wroclaw Hospital, where he died.

“I learned of Jacek Magiera’s death with great sadness and disbelief. It’s difficult to find the right words in the face of such a sudden and completely unexpected loss. Jacek was an exceptional footballer, a great coach, but above all a person of great value who could always be counted on,” said Federation President Cezary Kulesza.
