At the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the Gallagher brothers, lifelong Manchester City fans, sang “Live Forever”, one of the hits from their first album “Definitely Maybe”, dedicating it to Diogo Jota. The big screens in the stadium meanwhile projected images of the Liverpool footballer, who tragically passed away on Thursday following a road accident in Spain.
