Musiala defends Donnarumma: “No one is to blame for my injury”

MUNICH (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – For once, Jamal Musiala prefers to defend rather than go after a player. He does so on social media, posting a video in which, while never mentioning his name, he protects Gianluigi Donnarumma from accusations from those, such as Manuel Neuer, who have decided to shift blame for a collision on the PSG goalkeeper.

The Bayern and German national team player suffered a fractured left fibula and ligament damage, requiring surgery and a recovery period of approximately four to five months. In a video posted on social media, Musiala thanks fans for their “love and support. It’s inspiring to see how the football world can come together in times like this; I appreciate it enormously.” After reassuring everyone about the outcome of the operation and his condition, Musiala defended Donnarumma: “There’s no one to blame for the accident; these kinds of situations can happen. Now I’ll try to recover as best I can and turn everything into positive energy.”
