ROME (ITALPRESS) – Lionel Messi is consistently in the spotlight. After winning the MLS regular season top scorer title with 29 goals in 28 games, and extending his contract with Inter Miami (until 2028), he led the Florida team into the first playoff game of the American top flight.
At Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Inter Miami defeated Nashville 3-1, a game opened and closed by a brace from the Argentine ace. The Florida team now leads 1-0 in the round of 16 series, which is a best-of-three.
