BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA) (ITALPRESS) – The trial into the death of Diego Armando Maradona, which occurred on November 25, 2020, has been declared null. The San Isidro court decided this after opening an investigation into judge Julieta Makintach, accused of having authorized the entry into the courtroom of two individuals linked to an audiovisual production company who were allegedly filming a documentary without the consent of the parties and in which the judge herself was allegedly involved.
Makintach would have facilitated the production of the documentary by allowing technical personnel to enter restricted areas of the court, thus compromising the regularity of the trial. For the other two judges, Maximiliano Savarino and Veronica Di Tommaso, the conduct of “Makintach has caused damage to the parties and to the judges of the court and invalidates the trial. We believe that the case should be discussed in another court”. A decision that, according to Clarin, has thrown Dalma and Gianinna Maradona into despair.
