VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Prime Minister Robert Abela has underscored Malta’s priorities in digital transformation and European connectivity during a meeting with European Commission Executive Vice President Henna Virkkunen.
The talks, held at Auberge de Castille, focused on ensuring that the European Union’s digital transition benefits all member states, including smaller nations like Malta.
Abela highlighted the importance of a fair and inclusive Single Market, stressing that digital change must work “for everyone” across the bloc.
He also pointed to the need for strong European connectivity, particularly amid ongoing international challenges in the energy sector.
