VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Prime Minister Robert Abela reaffirmed Malta’s unwavering solidarity with Ukraine during the European Council summit, insisting that any peace initiative, regardless of its origin, deserves full support.
Addressing European leaders, Abela commented on the proposed Reparations Loan to assist Ukraine, saying its implications for each EU member state must be carefully assessed. He stressed that any proposal must respect both international and EU law.
Abela reiterated the need to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza and reaffirmed Malta’s support for a two-state solution.
