NAPLES (ITALPRESS) – “By mutual agreement with the club, Romelu Lukaku has been granted a few days of leave before rejoining the squad.”
With this statement, Napoli officially announced that the Belgian striker will not report to the team’s pre-season training camp in Castel di Sangro for the time being under head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Lukaku has attracted interest from MLS side Atlanta United, and Napoli are reportedly willing to sell the forward both to raise funds and to reduce the club’s wage bill, as the Belgian earns €6 million per season.
