LIVERPOOL (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Andy Robertson is very likely to become a new player for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 32-year-old Scottish left-back had already announced in recent weeks that he would leave Liverpool FC and, according to BBC Sport, he has already reached a preliminary agreement with Spurs.
In fact, Robertson had been close to joining Tottenham back in January, but Liverpool failed to reach an agreement with AS Roma to recall Kostas Tsimikas early from his loan spell. Without a replacement lined up, the club blocked Robertson’s departure.
Now that the player’s contract is expiring and Spurs have secured survival, there are no longer any major obstacles to completing the transfer.
