LA VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – The second edition of the Libyan European Forum for Oil, Gas and Energy was organised in Malta’s capital, Valletta, bringing together key players from the global energy sector.
The two-day event was held under the auspices of Libya’s National Oil Corporation, with supervision by the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce and organized by the Libyan French Chamber of Commerce.
The forum featured participation from major international companies specializing in oil, gas, and energy, signaling a strong commitment to international collaboration in revitalizing Libya’s vital energy sector.
Throughout the event, a wide range of critical topics were discussed, including oil and gas exploration, production, drilling, maintenance, manufacturing, refining, and quality enhancement. Sessions also focused on risk management planning and the development of investment projects within the sector.
According to the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, the forum presents a strategic opportunity to strengthen ties with international companies and attract new investments. The aim is to boost production, improve service standards, and position Libya as a competitive hub for global energy investments—ultimately supporting the country’s economic development.
