MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “I think I gave AC Milan everything I could give.” AC Milan striker Rafael Leao’s words in an interview with Portuguese club Sport.tv sound like a farewell. “It was a club that helped me grow a lot, that supported me in difficult times. I’m happy to have managed to write my name in the Rossoneri’s history. I want to try a new challenge in a new league. And if this were to happen, I would be very happy and satisfied, because it would mean I did my job to the best of my ability.”
Leao’s contract expires in June 2027. “Now the most important thing is the World Cup and helping the national team however I can. When the time comes, I will evaluate the best options to continue my career.” Leao’s future club could be in Spain, the Premier League, or Saudi Arabia.
