ROME (ITALPRESS) – Kylian Mbappè’s Club World Cup debut is postponed again. Having ended up in hospital with acute gastroenteritis, the French striker has not yet returned to training with the group and, also considering the high temperatures in the States, the medical staff has decided not to force his return.
Everything therefore suggests that he will also miss the second match of the group, tomorrow (at 9pm Italian time) against Pachuca, with Xabi Alonso who should confirm Gonzalo at the centre of the attack with Vinicius and Rodrygo wide. To see Mbappè back on the pitch it is likely that we will have to wait for the match on 27 June against Salzburg in Philadelphia.
