ROME (ITALPRESS) – The story seems incredible, yet it is all too true. As revealed by RMC Radio and confirmed by several Spanish newspapers, Real Madrid doctors actually examined Kylian Mbappé’s knee during an assessment of his injury in early December. Unfortunately, they examined the right knee, and not the left, where the French star was in pain.
The error would only be discovered more than three weeks later, and since then the Blancos star has refused treatment by the Spanish club’s medical staff. The blunder committed on Mbappé is not the only one: according to L’Equipe, the Galacticos doctors also examined Eduardo Camavinga’s left ankle on the wrong leg during an MRI scan performed on December 3 in Bilbao. Four days later, Camavinga was on the bench against Celta Vigo, before being forced to sit out for two weeks.
