RIYADH (SAUDI ARABIA) (ITALPRESS) – Simone Inzaghi has been appointed head coach of Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, a day after leaving Inter Milan. The Saudi Arabian club has officialized the arrival of the coach who just two days ago left Inter after 4 intense years and after having won a scudetto, 2 Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana, coming close to the Champions League twice with two defeats in the final against Manchester City and PSG.
“The Italian genius is here”, wrote the Riyadh club on social media, after signing the two-year contract worth 25 million euros per season. Al-Hilal, with Inzaghi on the bench, will participate in the Club World Cup and will face, in the group stage, Real Madrid, Salzburg and Pachuca.
