BERLIN (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – Ralf Rangnick could combine his role as coach of Austria with another role in German football. According to “Bild”, negotiations are underway with Hertha Berlin who have offered him the position of new head of the sports area. The meeting in Vienna between Rangnick and Fabian Drescher, president of Hertha, has reportedly had a positive outcome.
Rangnick, who has always been fascinated by the tradition of the Berlin club and its fans, has followed its stories with interest in recent years and is enthusiastic about undertaking what would be yet another challenge in his career. Hertha is in the German second division and in the past Rangnick has been able to bring teams such as Leipzig, Hannover and Hoffenheim to the Bundesliga.
