ROME (ITALPRESS) – It’s official: Oliver Glasner is no longer Crystal Palace’s manager. The English club has published an open letter on its website from the Austrian coach, written after the Conference League victory in Leipzig against Rayo Vallecano.
“I’m writing these lines the morning after the magnificent evening in Leipzig, which many of you will have enjoyed both here and at home, and I hope you still have a big smile on your face, just like us,” reads the letter from Glasner, who is in contention for the AC Milan bench.
“It’s difficult to explain how I feel leaving Crystal Palace after these two years, but I have to say it has been a privilege to work for this club. It’s a time I will carry with me for the rest of my life.”
Addressing the fans, Glasner concluded: “I feel incredibly fortunate to have shared this incredible journey with all of you during my time here. Together, we believed there was nothing this club couldn’t achieve, no opponent we couldn’t defeat. We created a competitive mentality. I want to thank you for your incredible support, your tenacity, and above all, your trust. I will continue to follow your progress and anticipate further success: you deserve it.”
