ROME (ITALPRESS/MNA) – “I strongly echo the courageous call for a ceasefire in Gaza made by Pope Francis to the world. I share his deep concern for the suffering of innocent people, and I pray that we will no longer have to hear the cries of those who have lost their loved ones, nor the pleas of parents forced to watch their children go hungry-deprived of the essentials, even water and bread”, said Kamel Ghribi, President of GKSD and Vice President of the San Donato Group.
“I reiterate, with equal clarity and determination, the call for the release of all hostages and an end to every form of blackmail that today imprisons not only people but hope itself”, he continued. “The Pope holds no interest other than the pure and universal one of love for humanity and the desire to end the needless suffering of so many innocent people, from all sides, caught in a war they did not choose. Once again, I urgently appeal to all parties involved: have the courage to engage in dialogue-choose the path of peace”.
