The Brazilian, who grew up at Barcelona, where he won the treble in 2014, and who also played for Celta Vigo, Real Sociedad, PSG, and Inter, announced his retirement on social media. Rafinha had been sidelined since the summer of 2024, when his contract with Al Arabi expired in Qatar.
