MANCHESTER (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – A surreal incident occurred during the Monday Night Premier League match between Manchester United and Everton: in the 13th minute, the Toffees were reduced to ten men after Idrissa Gueye was sent off for “violent conduct.”
The player slapped teammate Michael Keane, prompting two other Everton players, Pickford and Ndiaye, to intervene to separate the two. This incident is not unheard of in the Premier League: in April 2005, during Newcastle’s match against Aston Villa, the two Magpies players Bowyer and Dier came to blows and were both sent off.
