LONDON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Record-breaking transfer market for the Premier League. As the BBC reports, the total transfers completed by English clubs has reached £3.087 billion.
This spending significantly exceeds last summer’s £1.96 billion, and is even higher than the combined total of the Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, and Serie A. The most expensive deal of the summer has been made right on the transfer window: Alexander Isak has moved from Newcastle to Liverpool for £125 million.
