TOLOSA (FRANCIA) (ITALPRESS) – Damien Comolli is leaving his position as president of Toulouse. As reported by l’Equipe, the manager – who has been linked in recent hours with an imminent move to Juventus – wrote an email to employees, in which he announced his departure from the French club, where he has worked since 2020 following the acquisition of the club by RedBird (the investment company that also owns Milan).
“This is probably the most difficult letter I have ever had to write in my career. To communicate the decision that breaks my heart the most”, he wrote in the email, the content of which was reported by l’Equipe, which confirms the 53-year-old’s future in black and white.
“I was very or too demanding. I never did it with bad intentions, I’m sorry if I exaggerated”, Comolli wrote, addressing those who will soon be his former collaborators. According to l’Equipe, the manager will play a central role in Juventus’ new organizational structure and will work closely with Giorgio Chiellini.
