BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Julián Álvarez’s stay at Atlético Madrid is set to end, after just two years. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Argentine journalist Hugo Balassone has confirmed that the Albiceleste striker’s time at the club could end at the end of this season. Despite fairly concrete interest from Arsenal, Balassone reports, Barcelona is ready to finalize the deal, for a fee around €70 million. The 2000-born player “would like to join a team that can compete for titles,” something that, so far, Simeone’s team has been unable to achieve.
