MANCHESTER (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Manchester City is securing one of the pillars of its future. The English club has announced the contract renewal of Abdukodir Khusanov, who has signed a new five-year deal until 2031, rewarding the Uzbek defender’s consistent growth since arriving in Manchester in January 2025.
After signing the new contract, the defender expressed his satisfaction: “This is a fantastic day for me and my family: I’m really happy to extend my stay at City. I’ve enjoyed every minute since arriving in Manchester and I feel like I’m growing and learning so much as a player. Now I have a new challenge, which is to convince Enzo Maresca and secure a key place in the team. I’m determined to achieve this. I thank the City fans for all their support. It’s been really important during my adjustment to England and the Premier League. Now I’m just looking forward. I’m ready to do everything I can to help this club be as successful as possible.”
