TUNIS (TUNISIA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – Tunisia and Senegal are strengthening their commercial cooperation through a new memorandum of understanding between the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) and the Senegalese Export Promotion Agency (ASEPEX), aimed at fostering bilateral trade and developing new opportunities for businesses in both countries.
The agreement was signed yesterday in Tunis at the “Maison de l’Exportateur” (House of the Exporter), on the sidelines of a Tunisian-Senegalese economic partnership meeting held during the official visit of a high-level Senegalese delegation. The protocol updates and consolidates a collaboration that began in 2018 and was further developed in 2024, establishing an operational framework focused on identifying new markets, providing support to businesses, and fostering economic partnerships. Planned initiatives include the exchange of commercial information and economic data, the conduct of market research, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, and the organization of trade missions and business-to-business (B2B) meetings. Particular emphasis will be placed on priority sectors, including agri-food, fisheries, textiles and clothing, manufacturing, and services.
