ISTANBUL (TURKEY) (ITALPRESS) – Darwin Núñez could soon have the opportunity to revive his career in Turkey. The Uruguayan striker, coming off a difficult season with Al Hilal, has emerged as a target for Beşiktaş, who are reportedly working on a deal to bring him to Istanbul on loan until the end of the season.
According to several reports in the Turkish media, negotiations are already at an advanced stage. A number of clubs had shown interest in the 1999-born forward in recent weeks, but Beşiktaş now appear to have moved into pole position.
Al Hilal, however, have no intention of significantly devaluing their investment. The Saudi club paid around €55 million to sign Núñez and are keen to find a solution that will help restore the player’s value without incurring a substantial financial loss.
As for Beşiktaş, the club had also recently been linked with a potential move for Dušan Vlahović.
