ROME (ITALPRESS) – Pep Guardiola will not be the next head coach of the Italian national team.
According to information obtained by Italpress News Agency, the Catalan manager—while flattered by the offer made by the Italian Football Federation through technical director Paolo Maldini and advisor Leonardo—has turned it down.
As he has stated on previous occasions following his decision to leave Manchester City despite having one year remaining on his contract, Guardiola wants to take some time for himself and his family.
