BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.
The German forward, who made his senior Germany debut under head coach Hansi Flick, is reunited with a coach who has always believed in him and strongly pushed for his arrival at the Catalan club.
Born in Munich on January 18, 2002, Adeyemi has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Barcelona until 2031.
According to the Catalan media, Adeyemi, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund was due to expire in 2027, was keen to complete the move to Barcelona.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona will pay Dortmund €22 million plus up to €7 million in performance-related bonuses. Borussia Dortmund will also retain a 30% sell-on clause on any future transfer.
