MIAMI (USA) (ITALPRESS) – Inter Miami, the club where Leo Messi plays, has officially signed Brazilian midfielder Casemiro. The player joins the club on a free transfer and will remain under contract until the end of the 2027 MLS Sprint season, with an option to extend his contract until June 2029.
“What motivates me most, and I believe this applies to every player, is winning and continuing to grow. The project the club presented to me, along with the commitment everyone made to bring me here, means a lot to me,” said Casemiro.
“I am incredibly grateful and can’t wait to get started so I can repay this trust, not only during the 90 minutes of matches, but also every day in training,” he added. “All I can say is thank you, and I will give everything I have to repay the affection and trust the club has shown me.”
David Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami, was also pleased: “I am very proud to welcome Casemiro and his family. He is a person and a player I have long admired. He is a winner who has achieved incredible heights in football, and after an extraordinary career with Real Madrid and Manchester United, I am delighted that he has decided to make Miami his next home.”
