Liverpool reject Inter’s new offer for Curtis Jones

LIVERPOOL (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Inter are pushing for Curtis Jones, but Liverpool are standing firm. The Nerazzurri have presented a new approach for the English midfielder, through intermediaries, putting forward an offer of around €32 million. This figure, however, falls short of the Reds’ demands, who continue to value the player at at least €35 million.

According to ‘talkSPORT’, this is Inter’s second attempt after an initial offer of €25 million, which was rejected out of hand. Liverpool’s management reportedly considered that offer decidedly insufficient and also rejected the new offer, reiterating that they have no intention of entering into negotiations under these conditions.

Although Curtis Jones is likely to leave Anfield this summer, Liverpool are in no rush to sell him. The 2001-born midfielder’s contract expires in 2027, and the English club is prepared to keep him if a suitable offer does not arrive. Furthermore, within the club, there are no doubts about the player’s behavior or professionalism, considering him a reliable asset even when he hasn’t been given much playing time.
