LISBON (PORTUGAL) (ITALPRESS) – Marco Silva will succeed Josè Mourinho as Benfica coach. The Portuguese club announced that “it has reached an agreement with Marco Silva for the signature of a two-year contract, extendable until 2028/29.” After five seasons at Fulham, the 48-year-old manager is ready to return to Portugal, where during his career he coached Estoril Praia and Sporting Lisbon, before further stints abroad at Olympiakos, Hull City, Watford, and Everton.
