LIVERPOOL (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Liverpool have chosen Andoni Iraola. According to BBC Sport, having sacked Arne Slot on Saturday, the Reds will begin negotiations in the next few hours with the 43-year-old Spaniard, whose contract with Bournemouth expires and who has also been linked with AC Milan in recent days.
Iraola isn’t the only option—Sebastian Hoeness of Stuttgart and Pierre Sage of Lens are also interested—but the Reds will do everything they can to convince him to take the Anfield job.
Incidentally, Liverpool’s current sporting director is Richard Hughes, who was Bournemouth’s technical director when Iraola was hired.
