Overnight on August 11, Russian forces launched a massive combined strike on Zaporizhzhia, firing 10 missiles at the city, including a North Korean ballistic missile and Zircon hypersonic missiles, as well as guided aerial bombs (KABs). The attack completely destroyed the State Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification and damaged or destroyed a number of industrial facilities and civilian infrastructure sites, including food establishments, four apartment buildings and a garage cooperative, where the blast wave demolished garages and dozens of vehicles. KIEV (UCRAINA) (ITALPRESS) – Sono stati 1.158 gli attacchi russi contro 59 località nella regione di Zaporizhzhia nelle ultime 24 ore, con due morti e quattro feriti. Lo ha riferito il governatore regionale Ivan Fedorov, citato da Ukrinform. Secondo Fedorov, le forze russe hanno effettuato 23 raid aerei, 812 attacchi con droni, quattro lanci di razzi multipli e 319 attacchi di artiglieria. Sono inoltre 73 le segnalazioni di danni a abitazioni, veicoli e infrastrutture. (ITALPRESS).
