أكدت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة اليوم ترشيح إيطاليا، لمجلس حقوق الإنسان بدعم من 179 دولة.
وبذلك تعود إيطاليا إلى مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة كعضو مصوت.
وقال بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية إن إيطاليا حصدت أعلى عدد من الأصوات في المجموعة الغربية، للعام الثالث على التوالي، بعد فوزها بانتخابات لجنة الأمم المتحدة للمخدرات (2023) والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي (2024).
